Lucilite XLC INEOS Silicas offers the Lucilite XLC family of permeability controlled
silica xerogels. These products are designed specifically for use at the
filtration stage. The Lucilite XLC grades can partially replace the diatomaceous
earth filter or extend the use of the filter before replacement is required.
Lucilite can also be added during the aging stage and can
increase shelf life by up to 12 months. It is similar to Chill-Garde in
functionality, but is more cost effective.
